From Pesti Career Day to Your First Real Software Project
Thanks for stopping by Cloudamite at Pesti Career Day. It’s great to see people who are genuinely curious about building software that matters.
We’re a 40-person software consultancy, and one thing we’re genuinely proud of is how we grow new talent. So far, five of our colleagues started their careers with us in junior-level roles. For a company our size, that’s not an accident, it’s a conscious choice.
Learn by building, not by watching
Many of our juniors came through our training path, where you complete your mandatory training by working on something real: our internal ERP system.
You won’t be doing throwaway demo tasks. You’ll be contributing to a production system used inside Cloudamite, learning how professional software development actually works.
Technologies you’ll work with:
-
Node.js
-
React
-
TypeScript
-
Next.js
Along the way, you’ll get support from experienced developers who’ve been in the industry for years, people who care about clean code, pragmatic solutions, and honest collaboration.
What happens after the training?
We want to be fully transparent:
-
The training period is unpaid
-
If the training goes well, you’ll be first in line when the next suitable junior position opens up
-
In addition, we may also offer summer jobs to people who’ve completed the training successfully, since you already know our systems, tools, and ways of working.
This model has worked well for us, and more importantly, for the people who’ve grown from trainees into trusted colleagues.
Building our Data & AI Engineering team
Alongside our software development teams, we’re also starting a new Data & AI Engineering team , and we’re looking for people who want to grow in that space.
If you’re interested in:
-
Data engineering and modern data platforms
-
AI-enabled systems and practical machine learning
-
Turning data into reliable, production-ready solutions
…there will be opportunities to join us on that journey as well.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your career or already building your specialization, we value curiosity, solid fundamentals, and the willingness to learn things properly.
Curious? Let’s talk.
If Cloudamite sounds like a place where you could learn, grow, and do meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a strong first step into real-world software development, this might be it.
Blow your mind, not your head.
